Mia Laake
Director of Training & Compliance
Mia Laake is the Director of Compliance and Training, drawing on 13+ years of experience designing and managing recuperative care programs. She transitioned into this role after serving as Director of Recuperative Care, where she developed deep expertise in program design, partnerships, and operational best practices.
Mia has partnered with major insurers including IEHP, Molina, and Kaiser to create compassionate, comprehensive recovery environments for medically vulnerable individuals. She leads teams that remove barriers to care and housing, using client-centered, innovative solutions that have shaped recuperative care across California.
Mia’s journey from London, England to California was motivated by her desire for new experiences and opportunities. In London, she studied Healthcare Sciences at William Morris Academy and went on to Roehampton University to obtain a master’s degree in health and social care.
In her current role, Mia focuses on refining and standardizing recuperative care policies, training, and compliance across the organization, ensuring all staff, including the medical coordination team, deliver consistent, high-quality care. She remains committed to expanding her expertise to improve outcomes for vulnerable populations.
