James Ranslow

Executive Director

James Ranslow serves as Executive Director of Whole Person Care Clinic, leading an incredible team of clinical, mental health, and community service professionals driven to provide holistic, compassionate, and accessible care across Southern California. In this role, James is responsible for the overall performance, growth, and mission-alignment of the organization, as set forth by the Board of Directors.

Prior to WPCC, James served in diverse operations leadership roles within managed care, clinical service delivery, and project management environments at both publicly-held and nonprofit healthcare organizations. James began his career with the community health division at Boys & Girls Clubs of Garden Grove, first serving as an AmeriCorps VISTA, and then as manager of strategy and program development for family strengthening, case management, and mental/behavioral health programs serving children, youth, and families throughout central Orange County. James credits this experience with igniting his drive and philosophy that optimal health cannot be achieved without consideration and care for the whole person, and that a safe, quality, and comprehensive care experience should be accessible to everyone.

James is a professional member of the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE) and serves as Vice Chair for the Inland Empire Program Council. He also serves on the Board of Directors for the Corona-Norco United Way, which focuses on empowering youth leadership and offering support to those experiencing domestic violence, poverty, and homelessness. James holds a Master of Healthcare Administration from California State University, Long Beach and a Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Administration from The University of Scranton. In his free time, James enjoys playing the piano, exploring new and hidden corners of Southern CA, laughing at a good joke, and spending time with his wife, son, and overly-hyper black lab, Boston.
